Our goal is to deploy 100,000 Waypoints for 100 million people by 2030.

Liquidstar is the summary of long term research and development in the field of sustainable ‘energy to value’ optimization.

Liquidstar makes Waypoints - rapidly deployable distributed AI/edge micro data centers and infrastructure (Water, Electricity, and Internet) in a box. These Waypoints use solar and biogas for power and can train and run AI models, generate clean water and provide internet (via LEO Satellite).

Excess energy, water, and internet is sold to locals in off grid rural areas at a discount. Providing electricity via rentable batteries to more than 80 households, producing 100 Liters of water per day from an atmospheric water generator integrated with an air-conditioning unit and immersion cooling system, and hosting internet access for up to 1200 individuals.

This solves energy take off issues by having the data center act as a permanent customer of electricity and simultaneously solves SDGs 6 and 7 for the locals that live near the Waypoint with the potential to also help solve SDGs 3 and 4.

We began general research on what motivated Liquidstar over 6 years ago while looking into how we could leverage the intersection of blockchain with IoT, along with other emergent and newly commoditized technologies, to tackle some of the biggest environmental, humanitarian, and industrial challenges facing civilization. 

Starting with a blockchain based solar microgrid utility case study in 2016, we moved into protocol level self sovereign identity as a means to connect HUMAN+COMPANY+DEVICE (identities) - an essential component needed to enable the secure, ultra efficient Decentralized Autonomous Utilities of the future. 

With this newly developed identity backbone tool functioning at the heart of Liquidstar batteries and Waypoint charging stations, our vision is to create the core ‘Decentralized Autonomous Utility’ software platform to enable various futuristic applications to operate with high autonomy and security - most efficiently utilizing clean electrons for all layers of life.
